Caring for a loved one can often be difficult
and frustrating. Many families may not know where to turn or how to
ask for help. Our Family Caregiver Support Program provides support,
assistance, resources, and information. These services are provided
at no cost to anyone in our service area caring for an adult
age 60 or older or an adult of any age with Alzheimer's disease or a
related memory disorder. We also provide assistance to individuals age
60 or older who are caring for an adult child with a developmental disability
or a child under the age of 18.
The Family Caregiver Support Program offers
a number of services that help alleviate stress and improve the quality
of life for both you and your loved one. Our staff of specially-trained
elder care professionals are ready to help with:
- One-on-one assistance to assess needs and identify
options
- Getting information about community resources
and local programs
- Accessing services that can offer temporary relief
from the demands of providing constant care
- Connecting with others to feel less isolated
and receive encouragement, support, and understanding
